| Has the paddling bug bitten you? Have you bought the boat but have
no clue where to go and what to do once you get out there? If so,
perhaps this web site will give you some useful information to get
you going. I'll help you get started and then show you some places
to go based on 17 years experience exploring in the Timucuan
Preserve as well as many other areas in Florida and SE Georgia..
The water is waiting, so... get a boat, grab a
paddle, hit the water and let's have some fun getting wet! Just
click on the links to the left to explore the site. Important!
If you were re-directed here from my old site:
www.paddlethetimucuan.com
then you know that this site, while up to date as far as journal
entries are concerned, is incomplete as I am in the process of moving
the site over from the old server. If you wish to stay here, please
understand that many of the informational pages accessible from the menu bar on the
left hand side of the page exist only on the old site for now. If you
wish to return to the old site without being re-directed click,

Forecast :

Pretty
Darn Good
High
tides
will be mid-morning to mid-afternoon
and will likely continue to be higher than normal while the water Fay
dumped continues to drain.
The
weather forecast is going to depend a lot on what
Tropical Storm Hanna does but it's not likely to affect us until late in
the week. For now, look for cooler temps with highs in the upper 80's
and a 30 - 50% chance of thunderstorms all week.
This week's forecast gets a "Pretty
Darn Good"
rating. Click
